Expecting a new little one into the family is an exciting time for everyone. One of my favourite things to do when I was expecting my little ones was to personalize the nursery. When I was expecting my 4th, I was obsessed with DIY crib mobiles. To be honest, before my 4th I didn’t really put too much thought into the baby mobile for the nursery. But that’s probably because I didn’t realize the options available. To be honest, a baby mobile was one of those last minute things that you grab in the nursery decor shopping trip to me. Now that I’m done having babies, I plan on making these are gifts! Any of these would be such a great gift for any expecting parents. And with so many DIY crib mobile options, there’s an option for every nursery theme.
How to Make a DIY Crib Mobile
Then I discovered how personal and adorable DIY crib mobiles could be. At first, I will admit I was a little intimidated to tackle a DIY crib mobile. I’m not exactly the most crafty person (especially when it comes to sewing crafts). I can barely thread my sewing machine. If you have seen my DIY posts, you will know that I am all about the simple DIY projects that don’t take too much effort. If this sounds like you too, then not to worry. These are all DIY crib mobiles that require no sewing machine. All of these simple crib mobiles are hand sewn. Just simply download the PDF pattern and follow the easy directions. These files can also be uploaded and cut on your Cricut. If you have a Cricut Maker then you can cut your pattern from a thicker material (like a colourful leather) or fun felt colours. Only the Cricut Maker can cut non bonded fabrics. Check out more on the Cricut Maker HERE.
