Best Meatloaf Recipe {Egg Free} {Free Printable Recipe Card}

Meatloaf is a classic comfort food. And what’s not to love about a tender flavourful meatloaf? It’s quick, relatively easy, frugal, and the leftovers make for some amazing meatloaf sandwiches.

This meatloaf recipe one of my go-to on those really busy nights because it’s super easy to put together, and the whole family loves it. It’s also egg free – as long as the stuffing mix you use is egg free. I use Kraft’s Stove Top brand.

This easy meatloaf recipe is only 3 ingredients and sometimes referred to as ‘Stovetop Meatloaf’

If you’re looking for a for a healthy meatloaf option without sacrificing taste, you can substitute the beef for ground pork, chicken, or turkey.

Tips For The Perfect Meatloaf:

  • Mix the ingredients together well for a tender meatloaf that won’t crumble when you cut into it.
  • Cook this on a cookie sheet to cut back on cooking time. Just shape it to a loaf shape right on the cookie sheet.

Meatloaf Recipe

Ingredients:

MEATLOAF

  • 1.5 LBS of ground beef
  • 1 box of stuffing mix
  • 1.5 cups of water

MEATLOAF SAUCE

  • 1/2 cup of ketchup
  • 2 TBSP of regular mustard
  • 2 TBSP of brown sugar

How To Make The Easy Meatloaf

This is what 3 meatloaf ingredients in a bowl looks like.

Add the meat, stuffing mix, and water into a large mixing bowl.

Mix all the ingredients together well. For this, I usually start off with a mixing spoon and then get my hands in there to make sure everything is well combined.

Next, shape easy meatloaf mixture into a loaf shape on your baking sheet.

Combine your ketchup, mustard, and brown sugar in a separate bowl. Pour it evenly over your meatloaf o cover the whole loaf.

Bake your meatloaf in the oven at 425 for 40 minutes – or until a meat thermometer inserted into the centre of the meatloaf reads 63°C

    I’m always looking for egg free recipes since I can’t eat eggs so this sounds great. I like the mustard addition in the topping!

    Thank you for this. My boys Will be returning to school and I need to make real preparation for their everyday lunch and snack. This meatloaf is something I would love to learn to do so they have quick breakfast and also lunch at school.

    This meatloaf looks amazing. I love meatloaf and am always looking for ways to change it up. Stovetop stuffing has a great flavor and I am looking forward to trying it in meatloaf. I really love the addition of the mustard in the glaze. I am not a fan of traditional glazes

    This was an easy recipe to follow. Too bad I cant eat meatloaf anymore as I am pescatarian but I would of tried it if I wasnt.
